What independent restoration providers in our network are expected to meet — and what you should verify on your own.

The standards below describe what we expect of providers in our network — they are not a guarantee that any particular provider meets every standard at all times.
Licensing where Illinois requires it
Restoration and home-improvement work in Illinois may require state or local licensing depending on the trade and scope of work. Where a license is required for the work a provider is referred for, we expect that provider to hold the applicable license. Confirm a provider's current license status directly with them and with the relevant Illinois or municipal office before hiring.
Insurance coverage
We expect providers in our network to carry liability insurance appropriate to the work they perform. Because providers are independent businesses, their insurance coverage varies. Ask any provider for proof of insurance and confirm it covers your project before authorizing work.
Availability to respond
We built this request line to serve homeowners who often need help fast, so we seek providers who are available to respond to emergency water damage requests across the Naperville area. We cannot guarantee a specific arrival time, as availability depends on the provider, your location, weather, traffic, and current call volume.
What we do not verify
We are not a licensing board, a bonding company, or an insurance provider.
